Black Opal is a strategic solution oriented venture focused on real estate sector. The USP of Black Opal is its ability to provide capital as well as asset management expertise to real estate projects.

Currently we have a team of 35+ experts for managing various functions like sales, marketing, planning, CRM, construction management etc

About our founder

– Prasoon Chauhan in his last stint was Co-founder & CEO of ATS HomeKraft which was a JV of HDFC capital/ATS Group/professionals. HomeKraft is a mid income housing platform, currently executing projects more than 10 million sq. ft. (Sale value of INR 5000cr +) and sold more than 1900 (INR 2000cr+) within a span of 18 months
 
-Prasoon is a banking veteran with more than 13 years of corporate finance experience in two of the finest private sector banks of the country namely ICICI Bank and Yes Bank where he helped scale up from corporate finance portfolio from USD 50 Million to USD 2 Billion across Real Estate, Hospitality, Healthcare and Education with NIL NPA and headed a 21 member team as President & MD, Corporate Finance
 
-MBA from IMT, Ghaziabad with short term program at London Business School and Manchester Business School, UK
 
-Awarded CEO of the year by ET Times and Entrepreneur of the year by Golden Peacock

-7+ years of hands on experience in land acquisition, market exploration & real estate development with a deep understanding of markets, approval process, projection funding/financing, implementation and marketing

-An MBA by qualification, Priya has worked in the Human Resources domain for the last 20 years of her career. After having worked with renowned companies like KPMG, Jones Lang LaSalle and HDFC bank, she started her entrepreneurial journey with Perfect Global Profiles, a recruitment solution firm. 
 
-As an end-to-end HR solution provider, she was instrumental in setting up the entire HR function of ATS Homekraft, an upcoming real Estate company. She scaled up the manpower to its existing strength of 300+ and set up HR Policies and the complete process flow. She has the ability to design new HR processes and analyze and redesign the existing processes for higher efficiency. Her Forte includes Talent Acquisition, Policy development, Comp & Ben and Compliances.

Dinesh Neralla,

Vice President, Product

-Dinesh is an MSC in software engineering from University of Sutherland, UK and has over 18 years of experience in Product Management & Development of e-commerce platforms and mobile-first products. He has been driving the overall Product Strategy, user experience and innovation with a demonstrated track record of creating and scaling digital platforms for Fortune 500. He has a right mix of experience in MNC companies and start ups having worked with Genesys Labs and Innovation labs and startups like Indiaproperties.com
 
-In between, he dabbled in his own startup Tiriyos which was a powerful and extensible e-commerce search solution that delivers search results based on shopper intentions and behaviour in real-time
 
-Dinesh was also a part of the leadership team and was responsible for driving the overall Product Strategy, User Experience and Innovation for IndiaProperty.com, across all lines of business, with a focus on Mobile Growth

Atul is an MBA having over a decade of experience in real estate and banking industry (mortgage/insurance/investments). In addition to his exposure to Indian companies like Gaursonsand  Tata AIG, he has worked on International shores with DAMAC Properties. He has skills to drive business growth, capitalize on new revenue potential, and manage all aspects of daily marketing & business operations.
